Originally from New York, Dr. Joel Singer has maintained a cosmetic surgery practice in Connecticut for the past 30 years. Dr. Singer graduated from the Yale University School of Medicine, and completed his surgery and plastic surgery residencies at the Yale New Haven Hospital and Rhode Island (Brown University) Hospitals respectively.

Dr. Singer is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and holds membership with the American Society of Plastic Surgery, the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and other national and regional societies.

For the past nine years he has led medical missions to third-world countries such as Columbia and mainland China in order to teach local plastic surgeons and provide free surgery for needy children with birth defects.

His areas of expertise are cosmetic surgery of the face and breast, and aesthetic surgery to improve the body’s contours. Dr. Singer specializes in minimally invasive techniques such as “the Weekend Facelift,” suspension techniques for facial rejuvenation, total sub-muscular Breast Augmentation, and minimal scar liposuction breast reduction.
