Woodlands Hospital is a purpose built independent private hospital set within a 5.25 acre site at Morton Park, Darlington.
The Hospital is modern and fully equipped with the latest state of the art technology which allows us to offer a wide range

All the staff here at the Woodlands Hospital are committed to ensuring you are confident and comfortable with every aspect of
your visit. Our matron is on hand to address any concerns you may have and we have resident medical officers available 24
hours a day.
We are registered with the Healthcare Commission who inspects the Hospital annually to ensure that we are meeting the
national minimum standards.
Woodlands Hospital is the only private unit in County Durham. Our patients, however, are attracted from a much larger area
covering most of the North of England. We cater for Private Insured, Private Fixed Price and NHS cases.
The NHS Patient Choice programme is a Department of Health policy to give patients more choice about where and when they are
treated. We have been working with local Primary Care Trusts to ensure patients are offered the Woodlands Hospital as an

mandatory staff training and monitoring of hospital cleanliness.
